I was born in Canada and lived there until I was 18.
I bought my very first camera which I used to make movies and even a few "sponsor me" tapes with friends. One of the most memorable creations was Shark Attack, a film inspired by Jaws with cheesy scenes and even cheesier sequences. It was a blast.
After finishing high school I made the big move to Portugal. I studied translation for a year at Aveiro University only to realize I was destined for different path.
Here's where I picked up some useful skills including: Web Design, Graphic Design, and video/sound editing.
One of my favorite projects that I worked on while studying was Redoor. It's a short film about a character who's lost in a strange parallel universe. It was a great experience and we even received a couple of awards for it.
In 2012 I made another big move to Madrid where I studied a semester of advertising at the University of Rey Juan Carlos.
After graduating I had the opportunity to do a 6-month internship at JWT Spain where I worked as a Community Manager for brands like Nestlé and Corona Extra Europe.
I’m currently working at Effective Talk which collaborates with JWT. I do community management, analytics and I’m learning about the strategic side of online marketing.
